On the occasion of Watches & Wonders 2022, Panerai introduces a new case size to its Submersible collection. As its name suggests, the Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro will now be available in a 44mm diameter that joins the existing 47mm and 42mm sizes. The new Submersible model retains all the characteristics of the collection, which is based on the emblematic Luminor case with its distinctive shape and patented crown lock device. What sets it apart is its unidirectional rotating bezel. Concealed behind the solid caseback is the automatic P.900 calibre (ValFleurier based) with hours, minutes, small seconds, date indication and three days of power reserve. The brand also introduces a new Goldtech version of the original, streamlined Luminor Calendario Perpetuo.
Three interpretations of the Submersible QuarantaQuattro (forty-four) debut in the collection. Two steel models in a white dial/green rubber strap or black dial/black rubber strap combination and a third model in Carbotech (a high-tech carbon fibre composite) with a deep undersea blue dial and matching colour rubber strap join the Submersible family.

Upholding the brand’s sustainability efforts, Panerai also offers the new QuarantaQuattro in eco-responsible eSteel. Three models are presented with green, anthracite and blue dials paired with matching-colour high-gloss ceramic inserts on the rotating bezel. The two straps delivered with the watch are made of recycled materials: recycled PET and recycled rubber. These will be available exclusively in Panerai boutiques and online at www.panerai.com.

The seventh iteration of the QuarantaQuattro presented by Panerai during Watches & Wonders 2022 is a steel limited edition celebrating the return of the brand as the Official Sponsor of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team for the 37th America’s Cup. This new version of the streamlined Panerai Luminor Calendario Perpetuo is presented in a 44mm gold case. As with the previous versions (presented a few months ago), the dial side perpetual calendar display is limited to the day of the week and date indications (via double windows at 3 o’clock). Here, a smoked sapphire crystal dial allows us a partial view of the intricate mechanism. Flip the watch over and the sapphire caseback reveals the month, year, leap year and power reserve indicator on the micro-rotor P.4100 calibre. There are no correctors and all adjustments can be performed via the crown in either direction, without limitations. Last, the watch comes with an experience, a journey to Florence and the Tuscan countryside.
