Omega Seamaster 007 Edition Watch
As Daniel Craig’s chapter as James Bond comes to a close, the No Time To Die premiere this evening at The Royal Albert Hall in London was filled with just as many stars as it was Seamasters.
Rarely does any red-carpet event fall short in the category of watch spotting, but a movie franchise with as much of a horological heritage as James Bond (aka 007) is almost obligated to oblige us watch enthusiasts with some wrist candy. Especially since this is Mr. Bond himself, Daniel Craig’s last turn in the titular role.
Amid the stars and spies, timepieces from the likes of Cartier and Parmigiani Fleurier were worn but in honor of Bond and the man who inspired me to purchase my Seamaster, this spotting is strictly Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition.
For his last installment as the formidable and infamous 007, Daniel Craig, an Omega Global Ambassador, wore a Seamaster Aqua Terra. Sized at 41mm, the larger case is offset by elegant rose gold. Proving he is just as stylish as his onscreen alter ego; Craig wore a double-breasted raspberry velvet jacket with his rosy watch.
Beaming with the same shining confidence her character, Miss Moneypenny, Naomie Harris wore an Omega Deville Ladymatic 34mm featuring a diamond bezel and diamond hour markers. The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition ambassador expertly paired the watch with an equally dazzling gown, proving watches can be worn on women in a formal setting.
The future King of England, Prince William, made an appearance wearing his tried and true, Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Mid-Size Quartz. A gift from the late Princess Diana, Prince William has made his blue dial Seamaster as classic as the Bond Films.
Though the end of an era is bittersweet, the excitement of the London premiere is just the beginning. Next week, 007 & Co. come to Los Angeles for the North American premiere and all we can think of is: what will be on their wrists next? Stay Tuned!
