Panerai just introduced the limited-edition PAM01385 reference as the latest addition to its Panerai Radiomir Officine collection.
While many iterations have been made through the years, this timepiece is crafted with the 1935 Panerai Radiomir Officine prototype in mind. Attired in a 45mm polished steel case, the reference inherits many of the original’s iconic characteristics, from the cone-shaped crown to its sandwich dial and cushion-shaped watch case.
The dial stars a matte brown color and hollowed-out indices, where only the numbers 12, 3, and 6 are incorporated as Arabic numerals. While the Super-Luminova coating arrives in a beige hue to match the monotone color scheme, it lights up to bright green for improved legibility in dark surroundings.
Geared to run continuously for up to 3 days, the time-teller is operated by Panerai’s in-house hand-wound and mechanical P.6000 caliber. Completing the timepiece is a complementing Scamosciato calf leather strap in dark brown, which is finished with beige topstitching.
Released as a 300-piece limited-edition, the new Panerai Radiomir Officine PAM01385 is currently only available via Panerai’s online boutique.
In case you missed it, this year’s Only Watch auction is officially postponed until 2024.
